Little Ol Me - Karl Magi

My name's Karl Magi and I'm a freelance writer from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I've been a freelance writer for six years now since graduating Mount Royal College (now Mount Royal University) here with an applied degree in communications with a specialization in journalism.

I have had a variety of writing positions. I worked with Calgary Living Magazine (now out of print), Alberta Oil, CalgaryPlus.ca (I wrote short business profiles for this website for about three years). Most recently I was published In Penguin Eggs magazine. I've now been writing for Suite101.com for a year.

My areas of interest in terms of writing include food, art, architecture and music as well as social and political issues. I am always intrigued to learn more about the world and help others to learn more through my writing.
